I agree, someone has had a fiddle with mine and it handles well, for a VTR, but if you want to go breaking records then I'd be looking for a new suspension setup all together, PM Shaun, he's our resident Ohlins guy, also a set of manual cam chain tensioners would be a good start because they tend to play up when you don't want them to, like I found out at the last Drag day, check out http://www.cbrzone.com, they have some good performance parts at good prices and they deliver fast too.

Will do as much i can on the suspention till i run out of options. Cheers. Some swear by the SV before the VTR, however i have had a lot of fun the VTR bikes. Im a Vtwin man for sure. I love them.

Ive got two brothers pipes, battleaxe on the rear, peralli on the front. Im sure mine has been fiddled with before i got it, as it is just a monster when you open the throttle to the limit it will go.

chuck it off a cliff, then it might hit 280.

and the bottom of the cliff is the best place for it.

Who gives a shit what you ride, it dosnt matter what you ride guys, at the end of the day we are all bike riders. Enjoy the idea of diversity. But if your so lost in yourself that you get to the point of thinking that you are the one and all because of the fact that THE BIKE made YOU look cool (not the other way around), oh well; sad loss to the idea you started off with.

    Enjoy riding. I do.

Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.

Dunno where that came from man...I'm just intruiged(genuinely) about this VTR of yours. You know, diversity and all man. The references to what I'd ridden hard was a comparision of similar bikes, that all.
You say you don't give a shit what "you" ride...diversity again man.

    Dunno...maybe Dover's right

If those whom have knocked the 280kph, go back and read again. I said that the speedo ran out of rom. I acknowledged that the grounfspeed is quit something else. I wasnt the one touting that the spped was actual to the speedo; some-else did that further back. The reality is quite different, as nice as it would be to take it there. I certinalty did not just start riding today.

I dont muck around at the bottom of dial. I love getting as close to light speed as much as possible, like most others do.
