    Wellington: M6x1 left hand die

I need to cut two threads on a rod - both left hand M6x1. Tried all my usual contacts but no luck. Anyone able to help?

Is it for the gear change linkage I gave you??
The other option,is if the threads on it are ok & it just needs to be longer, cut it & weld a section it it

Nah, the current rod only has one thread on it and the rod is too short. Both ends have to be left hand. I was expecting one to be right hand but noooo...

230mm long with a left hand M6x1 on each end would be ideal

Actually just another rod with a thread and I'll weld them together.

Can't see why you would want both LH thread. If they are one of each you can turn the rod while all on the bike shortening & lengthening the rod thus adjusting lever height. A new rod eye is pretty cheap from Schroderco or where ever.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I don't want both left, they just are. And they're not bolted to the levers at the knuckles either. That's why I expected one left and one right.
