Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum, Ok, i have limited budget 4-5K, and need some no bullshit advice

i have the choice of a couple of bikes.....

One is an XF650, Suzuki 1997 30K {genuine?} kms on the clock but with knobblies DR650 motor with added carbs

the other is a f650 BMW actually quite a few on trade me but this ones my pick 1996, 140K 3 givi boxes,

both have been owned by mechanics, they both look identical the suzi is based on the BMW.

Which would you pick and why? or if you have another that you think is better than either option let me know.

( even tho i will end up with needing to put dual purpose tyres on the xf looks to be the better deal i know that the owner for the bmw will sell for 4500 and the XF owner wants 5000 straight)
