    Bloody rain

Saw on the news last night, all the rain the far North is getting.

Well Spare a thought for us down in the lower parts.

Picture this( picture below ) I'm sitting at the BBQ table having a JD chaser, and it starts to rain.

The rain is watering down my JD chaser,
The wind picks up a little, knocking over a couple of my empties ( guess I'll have to pick these up tonight )

I had to retreat to the indoors.......

My joking a side... I hope any Far North KB'er and family are all dry and warm.

To All Have a GREAT weekend.

dasser....Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."

I couldn't believe it when I saw the news last night - we were in Russell for our honeymoon this time two years ago and the weather was amazing. A bit of a different view to what we saw - see the attached photo.

Great pics T.I.E. Sister is at Okaihau. Kids couldn't get home after school etc. Had the odd kid staying at her place for the night.

On brighter note the boys were towing thier boogy boards up and down the farm races!

Pissed down here at Rotorua. Our bedroom is a batch on temp piles and meon3 spent the night sleeping with her earplugs in. Strange sensation room moving with every heavy wind gust. Don't live on top of a hill!

once the floods dropped down there was a bit of fun to be had. about 3pm the roads were closed and had alot of worried parents that couldnt get to their kids. but community got to gether and many childen stayed with the locals ( could be a worry) but all was good.

and dontlive at the bottom of hills either.

We lived in Okaihau when I was a kid! - between the bowling club and the bakery.....
