    Sunday "training"...

If Shane gets the forks done on the XR in time he says it'll need the brakes and forks bedding in and the best place for that would be the right hand branch of the Wairoa on Sunday after the cars have finished playing.

Good chance for any potential co-pilots or even bike-test whores to have a go.

Been out to Hori bay over the whangamoas? Primo riding out there & lots of tracks to explore.
    Nice advice, Craig.
Had a great time up there today - awesome tracks, primo weather!
    I'll be back.
    Cheers.

    Sunday? ride...

May be at the Waimea West MX track now.
Got some YSS emulators for the XR forks
They were ordered 5pm last night at Morleys and they're here already!

They'll need adjusting/bedding-in and the rear shocks will need tweaking for best ride over the rough stuff.

    Proper front suspension!

Went for me first hoon up the Cobb today. Nice views and not a soul to be seen anywhere. Went right up past the dam to look for those tracks Nordie was talking about but couldn't see any sign of them. Went up few sidetracks near the pipes and that was good.

Followed the pole track loop and that was cool with a few downed trees to ride under and over. Don't think it was a walking track

Didn't like the fact that the road is paved with marbles, that and my first ride with a full fuel load (26 litres) the normally superb handling was not up to its usual standard. Good day out though and managed to make myself car(motorbike) sick coming back over the Takaka hill.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Nice ride aye. Looks like everyone has been out this week apart from the wolfy. I went over Maunga yest avo - fcuk there's some big mud holes now. Really really impressed with my 07s- for road tyres they're awesome. Can't wait to try the intimators when they arrive. Might have to have another shed night...

Yeah ... an intiminator night we could get some people who know about suspension and stuff and we could set our bikes up just right. I am a bit hypersensitive about my crappy suspension at the moment.

Definitely up for that, wanted to get at least get a few minutes ride on the bike before the 6hr. What sorta time? Was planning to go orienteering so I better do that earlier rather than later.

Looks like next shed night could be subtitled: Fork you! I'm happy to host it; got all I need to do fork oil changes, bushes, seals etc - and there's lots of fiddling stuff you need.

ZK has got seals to be done, too - but maybe not anymore if the bike has gone pop?
    Cheers,
    Colin

    No idea at the moment.
I'm going to try visiting the XR in hospital and see what the prognosis is today.
