I was sortof under the assumption that a helmet is a helmet. If they wernt designed survive a serious impact then the wouldnt be sold. would they?

    Mirrored visors are ghey
are Iridium visors those ones that look like an oil patch? all shiny and multi-colored?
I suppose the one ive got at the moment is Iridium, but its a bit scratched now. the whole helmet is at least 11 years old.

I like the mirror effect so that no one can see my face when im riding.

    makes me feel cool

specially when you give other riders the little nod

Wait whats the difference between iridium and tinted?

    Ohhhhhh.
I disagree. Id rather have that blue iridium than a crappy grey half tint.
I spose that dark tinted one is pretty cool If I had to have one.

Is there law about how much tint you can have on your visor?

    Yes.
There are also mirrored ones, which have a shiny coating applied, like on my AGV, which is dark-tinted AND mirrored.

Not yet - there is in the UK, so it's probably only a matter of time before some bureaucrat dreams up a law against tinted/mirrored visors to justify his drab, boring, grey-suited, grey-faced existence.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Agreed. (Just me chiming in!)

I also saw the guys at Red Baron for general tuning/servicing stuff and all my experinces with them have been good too.

I can personally recomend everyone at Colemans, I bought my GZ250 from there and they are really good guys who take care of you, they are not there to take the piss and just make money out of you, these guys are bikers too and understand everyone from l plate riders (like me) to experienced hardcore bikers.

Yesterday I went in there because my brakes were making a funny noise, I asked Mike in services just to check them for me and he told me that I had no brake pads left (that would explain the noise ), so they quickyl replaced them for me as I couldn't ride with no brakes, it took them 20 mins and I think cut into their lunch time, but the end result was that they are good guys who take care of you.

    Piss Take.

A locally-agreed-upon convention to be used when unwonted seriousness and hurt feelings threaten.

Particularly amongst all the limp-wristed iridium visor wearers...
