    You definitely coming Sels1?

Pick up your pack and you'll get the route strips plus a map which is a bit dark and only in black and white so not so easy to look at but it looks like we are doing a few of the usual haunts like Belmont Park, Long Gully Makara area, Dry Creek Quarry, Rallywoods, Puketiro and Battle Hill.

I've done a well over due oil change on my bike and loaded some gear in my bag, put the route sheet holder and my GPS on, lubed the chain and its looking sweet.

See you all soon - I'll drop down to the boat club for the briefing - might even wear a KB shirt so you South islanders will recognise me - looking forward to meeting you SI boys.

Sadly for the first time in 16 years my Bro' isn't able to come and adventure ride with me now because he has taken crook and is having a stint in and out of hospital. Hope they sort him and he recovers soon and is back biking.

My plan is to ride with Aslan and Bulabil now that my Bro' isn't coming and you're welcome to start with us and see how the day goes. Your 250 should be fine for this ride. I'll be on my WR, Aslan has a DR350 and Bulabil a DR250.

Andy had a ball, said it was a great day and the weather holding was the icing on the cake.

What's this I hear about an esteemed fellow rider and publishing icon having to hand over the keys to a bike he didn't own after being pinged by the boys in blue for doing a tad over the speed limit?
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Well, if it doesn't, we'll all want to know why! Wonder whether the owner got the bike back after it was impounded?
