Well im home and have clocked up 722kms. It really was a great ride. Always interesting when you get on those back roads, cows and all. I reckon we couldnt expect the weather to be to much better for this time of the year. Good to catch up with a few that i have met before and a few that i havent. It was good to put names to faces. Especially to those that i have followed on this site when they have been in market to buy, and have keeped track of their journey.
There are some great photos of the trip and i reckon that other KBers will be very envious of the way this was organised and run. Well done Chanceyy.
Oh and by the way, the cake was great. And yes i had a peice for Carnalee.

    Betsy ..

Well after Betsy started dying badly on the last leg home thought I would fire her up today & see if there were any issues

hmm does not appear to be running quite as smooth & once she had a wee clear out of her lungs seems ok ..

so water in the electrics maybe ??

    petrol blockage ??

hmm guess a ride next weekend may be in order to see if she is ok or needs more surgery .... .. am hoping not

bugger. Should have brought a honda huh?

Hope it all comes right for ya.

On an up note, Mrs Cowboyz and I are home again now. Had a criusy ride home striaght up the highway. Was going to call in when coming past shannon but it started to spit just before and Meanie had our kids so thought we better get back. Traffic was physco. Wasnt in the mood for lane splitting so we gently made our way out of wellington. Road cleared after Levin so that wasnt too bad.

Another good weekend out the way. All fun and great having Mrs Cowboyz along for the ride.

    Cheers

have to expect these things with an old classic . I guess but would love to get more than 2 rides before something else goes pop .. we were riding in pretty heavy rain .. & got some advise last nite that it could be electrical .. seems to fit ...but next weekend will tell the story .. only rode her round shannon dodging the who were out & about ...but had the opportunity to fang her a bit & she seemed ok ... but a open road ride might tell another story ..

nods weather was a bit dodgy but managed to get lawns mowed today & u guys are welcome to call in anytime

& we hope to see Bobbie out on some more rides now ... Was great to see her out & about .. got a great piccy of you both arriving at woodville but dunno how to reduce the size of the pics .. & they are taking damn well foreva to upload so given up for now ...

easiest way to resize is load into MS paint and hit CTRL W and rezise to 50% hor and 50% vert and then save as a JPEG image.

(or get powertoys and you get a nice little pic resizer on your right click menu)

Or if you have piacasa that will let you resize to email size which is quite good. Aim for about 50-80k if you are uploading via dialup.

Failing all that, I would love to see the pics so might have to visit with a usb memory stick.

    cheers
