    Thumbs up

    What an awesome wee event
Great seeing the kids faces as we rolled down the driveway
Well sorted day by the P.M.C
Think I heard $800 raised & handed to the home along with the assorted gifts it was a pretty good effort.

A fairly well stocked number of KBers present as well, good to catch up with the ones I managed too

Great day for a ride with perfect weather Though playing silly buggers with Jules from the PMC on the way to the wheatsheaf meant the bikes recently fitted panels are now sporting scuff marks on the leading edges

    few Pics

    1) Gathering of the masses at Princess Margaret Hospital
    2) Arrival at Cholmondeley Home
    3) Crowd
    4) House Director Thanking the Crowd

Good stuff. I couldnt stick around too long at the Cholmondeley but made it there with the lot of ya. I have some pics I will stick up soon.

Are there any badges left? The money went to the hospital right? I left my $10 cash and didn't have it. But I do want one

Shame didn't get a chance to catch up before you took off

Apparently there were 50 badges made for the run but there are going to be another 30 odd produced to cover the people who paid but didn't receive one, gman49 will be able to confirm

Yep.. ALL the profits go to the home!!! Has done for 19 years now!!

There should have been a list happening, collecting names & addys for badges that had been paid for, so they can be sent out when more are made. Did you write ya name etc down when ya paid??? Any queries, pm Steve: gman49!!

Awesome pics guys!!! Looks like it was a bloody great turnout.. & was doubly blessed with the brilliant weather!!!

I'm gutted I wasn't there.. (living in paradise DOES have some downfalls.. ) The first Cholmley run I attended was 93!! (even got interviewed on tv!! ) Tis always a very rewarding experience.. & seeing the ear to ear grins on the kids faces, just MAKES the day!!!

To everyone who attended.. YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, I meant I thought I had the $10 still sitting in my wallet until it was too late... I'd still donate the $10 of course, for the badge.

The whole idea of these forums i thought was so we didn't have to keep sending everyone individual messages about events.
If you want to come along then log in and check the meetings and events more often. I posted about it on 30th April and this thread has been live since 2nd May. You've had a week to discover it, why didn't you check on Thursday night or Friday to see what the weekend had to offer? That's what most others do, if not more often.
