    Well after spending last weekend in ChCh I am thinking about coming down for this rally... I've been told its a goodun'

    Buuuuut no BYO???? (How anal are they likely to be???)
    That makes it expensive... unless the bar prices are as reasonable as they were at the March Hare...$3 for an RTD, that was pretty good I thought.

    hey... what ever happened to the "canvastown" rally we (nelson road turing club)used to hold?..
    get rained off?

    hell no.. we sent out invites to the CLUBS... and shops.
    we did, send out invites to the ones that had come the years before...

    Yes well...I usually take my own but always put some $$ across the bar as well.

    The reason I ask is cos they state it 3 TIMES on the entry form...

    That rally died a few years ago now hon!

    & yeah, IIRC it had a lot to do with toooo much rain.. & mud!

    we still take our own coz the bar is to far away & you get lost trying to find your way back to camp
