Heard from him last night and he will be at the rally. He is always willing to have a beer.
Enjoy the Rally, at this stage a small group of us will be heading South over Easter.
Well, C.B. and I are at Haast, had an ale cos it's effing hot, spotted an mega-fuggly BMW outside Wilderness Motel, has stickers all over it, I GUESS it's Harvey???.

Dang, one of the other guys has just told me it has gone - we're off to the 'Jar-shop' for a few drinks tonight so hope it's there and I'll have a yarn with him.

Anyway, ride here from Chez Scumdog was A1 - barring the 30degree plus heat!

    Later dudes.

I'm here too, at Greymouth that is. Bloody hot on the ride over, heaps of melted tar on the roads, watch out for it guys. And watch out for the cops too - there was one hidden at the top of the Cragieburn range keeping an eye on the straight with his laser. Stopped at the Bealey for a beer, only to discover more cops there too. The chick behind the bar said there are two marked cars and one mufti car staying there at the moment - so they'll be out looking for you tomorrow.

Also the cops from Nelson are still on the coast including 4 mufti cars - 3 late model holdens and/or falcons and a japanese boy racer look a like painted a dark dull colour possibly satin black.

Plenty of bikes on the roads too, so it should be a good one tomorrow.

Anyway, off to have a beer or 3 now ...

    Woodstock

Well, me 'an C.B and Ken, Murray and the Kraut had a great night, the only problem was me finding my way back to our accomadation.
Caught up with Harvey ( the Pommy guy mentioned by Pickle of Wellington)and a couple of Austrians - the chick was o.k. but the guy was WINJAS dream!!

The stars are super-bright above, not a car moving and I'm off to molest C. B. - IF I can find my room.!! (ya ain't lived until ya have been on the Coast on a quiet Friday night!!

    See y'all t'morrow! - or else.

P.S. The Austrian Guy gave me some flash Cuban Cee-gars! I'll be smokin' them t'morrow!!

P.P.S. Re the notice fron far queue, no cop is going to worry me no-how, y'rall to paranoid eh?

    1st home, yeahhhhhhhhhhh

Sweet w/e guys, hell of a ride over the Lewis and to the coast, only stung twice once by a tiny fury critter in the neck and once by a uniformed slightly bigger fury critter... in the arse (well back pocket anyway)
Spot a lunch in the sun at Reefton, and then on to Woodstock (south a Hokie)
Great site awesome people lovely aray of grub coast style well priced drinks and a good old chin wag with the southeren KBer's.
The two tanks I have picthered had a blasting sesion at each other and unfortunatly for the Krout's they lost..... so did the Hiace and Mk1 Escort.
I have vid's of it man ya wana herar the tanks scream.... LOUD hell yes and the racket of the peops watching is funny as too.

Bit a breaky in Hokie and off over the Aurthers... that has to be one of NZ's best rides, now time to bath the bike.... heaps a pic's on there way... so stay tuned

So heres a few pics of the rally, awesome by the way... lots of sun, and only a little wind which was nice to stop it getting too damn hot.
Oh and the vodka cruisers were a damn nice price, thanks rally guys!

Yeah I was there had a great time, just got home about half an hour ago.

I was on my trusty CG, well it only broke down a few times!

Was running real rough on the way over, apart from the hills when it was running like a dream. When we left today it was running rough as guts, I thought it might be the coil lead, but it wasn't, pulled in at the roundabout, the kamea junction? the roundabout with the tran tracks going through it, and wrapped some tape around the lead, but then it wouldn't start! was no spark, we worked on it for about an hour and it turns out the condensor lead was earthing out where it attaches to the coil. We put some tape around it and it fired up! Went good for about a K then it putu'd out again so we wrapped HEAPS of tape around it as it wore through. Was running mint as after that, got home in no time, even managed to take out a few big bikes around the twisties as it handles pretty good if you hang off the side.

It was a blue CG110 with a 125 barrel and XL125S piston if anyone saw it, that was me!
