    Yamaha TZR250!

1988 Yamaha TZR 250, great little 2 stroke sports bike.

Goes great, been well looked after, engine in the bike has done 15k, the speedo reads higher as the original engine was taken out for a rebuild and this one put in, (the current engine had just undergone a rebuild prior to being put in). Engine in the bike has done around 2k on rebuild, unfortunately I didnt procure the receipts.
Has only been used for a few jaunts since we have had it, we purchased it off a good friend who owned it for three years, so my partner could start learning to ride, neither the previous owner, nor we, have had any problems with it.

Bike is on Trademe also, so look at this link if you want to see photos.

If you have any questions, please enquire!

These bikes are about as fast as youre gonna go on a road legal 250. Very few of these floating around in road legal condition, so jump on it quick!

gday. No that is the 1989 model, but you can get the pipes of the 1989 model and put them on if you want. from what I understand its just a matter of swapping the bits over!
Its a great wee bike though, I would love to keep it as a track bike, but we bought it to teach my partner to ride, and now she can she is set on a ninja 250, so sadly out it goes!

How can you fit 3ma exhausts to a 2ma cylinder??
on the 2ma the exhaust port is facing forward while
on the 3ma its facing backwards.
They wont fit its a completely different engine layout

You are right!! I looked it up and they dont bolt straight up, but with a little cutting and welding, you can still get the pipes coming out like the reverse cylinder model.
