    KTM 640 Adventure

    ****** SOLD JAN 2010 *************

It’s time to sell my much loved KTM 640 Adventure.
It’s a versatile, go anywhere machine, with fantastic White Power suspension, perfect for NZ’s back roads, gravel and adventure riding, or simply commuting to and from work if you wish.
I’ve owned it 2 years, it has served me extremely well and is great fun to ride. It has good fuel economy, around 18 km/litre cruising at 110kmh on the highway, so with it’s 28 litre tank, it’s got a fuel range of around 500 km!

I have serviced it regularly, oil & filters have been changed every 4000 km, and full service done at 35,000 km.
    Valve clearances done
    New spark plug
    Front wheel bearings replaced
Steering head bearings and shock pivots have all been greased
Cam follower bearing replaced at 33,000 km
Chain and sprockets both replaced at 35,000 km
Brake pads are both in good condition

It has been fitted with Magura fat bars, handlebar risers, and a hydraulic clutch, comes standard with kick and electric start.

These bikes are tall, with 950mm seat height, but I have spare suspension linkages to lower it 1.8 inches if you wish.
It has a side stand as well as main centre stand for ease of maintenance.

Overall, it’s in very good condition with minor scrapes on the plastic tank and handguards - just some general wear and tear as you would expect with some off-road use. I also have spare KTM tank decals ready to fit that I’ll include.
I will sell the bike with a new WOF and 6 months rego, as it is currently on hold.

Will be putting this up on TradeMe this week, last chance for KB'ers to negotiate out of the auction process.
Perfect bike for exploring NZ backroads this summer

Okay, thanks for all the inquires guys, the bike was sold in January and now resides in Christchurch.
Keep an eye on TardMe, a few come up occasionally but normally get snapped up pretty quickly.

    Cheers for all your interest,
    Regards CF
