    Nice ride,

Best part for me was going back and doing the forest road again.

For the rest of the ride I was happy tail end charlie

    my story.

dropped my bike fri and fucked my gears and broke off my clutch. resigned myself not to go.

woke up 10:30 on sat. had to get my bike fixed anyway so got a lift to colemans and bought a new one. sweet as.

realised I could still make it so geared up and headed off with great difficulty changing down gears mind you, alot of stopping at intersections in 5th and jamming it down.

anyway. the forest was great, had a few nasty crossing the line instances especially when I waved to another Kiwibiker (forgot your name sorry bud) and there was metal just after that. honestly that forest SHITS ALL OVER 22 its like a slalom.

turned up and got the obligotory shit from juzzer about not calling him etc, fair enough, I would have loved to take that bike up. told to go get pissed. so I did. I got very pissed. I dont remember too much about the event really, I remember the flat crawl. I vaugly remember 'something that im not discusing' involving the sea, and well that rip was fucking strong.

I left early because I was a bit angry for something and didnt want other bikes around me because I ride rather 'erratically' in that mood. and didnt want to be a danger to other bikers also I prefer to ride alone these days anyway. went back through the forest and managed to get my toe down again accidentally, I was taking it easy because of the hangover. those crappy long straights were a cunt on my bike but I figured out some caffine (aka lift energy drink) would make the trip go faster and it did

I figure I was totally out of the worst part of a hangover by wellsford and then had a bit of a blat on the way back etc. got home and got gareth_d to wash my bike. mint, he does a good job I recommend him for a cheap and thorough cleaning.

now since I dont remember it all Im going to assume I pissed a few (to say the least) people off so Im apologising here and now. Sorry .

Top weekend guys and a really lovely place to stay. It was great meeting everyone and talking shit. Juzzer, the knickers looked a real fashion statement on your head!!! .

However the trip back for me was not the greatest!!! The first stop was before we even got to Kaikohe, then we left the group to head straight home. I then became very intimate with the Public Toilets at Morewa!!!

    Oh dear... oh dear!!!

    Feeling better now though.

Paul will have the pics and vids up soon.

Thanks BlackYoshi for all the organising - it was great.

I must admit considering that this was the first overnighter that I done, it was a great ride (we went up late saturday night) both ways with people of all levels of experience, as for the evenings activities,
well I guess all the interesting bits will come out in the end!!

    Real shame.............

It was a top ride and a rather epic piss up.

Big thanks to Yoshi for taking the initiative and organising a great trip and apologies for the slightly shambolic convoy after Whangarei.

Nice to meet a few new faces and I do apologise for my behaviour, yeah right fuck that!!

By the way my arse is copyrighted so if any pics are put on the internet then I shall expect royalty payments for every pair of eyes that views the sacred posterior.

    First Pics from Opononi

    Ok,

Here are the first few pics. I have been through and deleted the odd one, but have 45 left. A great ride up on Saturday. The evening was entertaining.

Unfortunately a certain nameless pillion wasn't very well, so I had to hand the TEC job to Sarge. Sorry about that mate. I needed to get someone home asap.
