    Stunt/Drag Trackday

Righto folks, after some talk about having a KB stunt day I've got my arse into gear to start organising one. Private roads are just too risky for this sort of event, so I have approached Champion Dragway at Meremere. Obviously this means that there will be a cost involved but if we have enough numbers it shouldn't be too bad.

By utilising the drag strip we can combine stunting, stunt training and some drag racing for a full day's worth of fun. Cost is going to depend on numbers - the more we have, the less it will be. If we have 20 people cost will be $80 (which includes having an ambulance on track with a paramedic on board). I could bring the ambulance cost down by doing it myself, but that means I wouldn't get to play. But I will seriously consider it if it means the difference of the day going ahead or not.

Dates available at this stage are Friday 10 March, Saturday 11 March or Saturday 8 April. Obviously we will need to be in quick to secure one of those dates.

All those seriously wishing to do this please let me know asap so I can see whether its worthwhile booking the track.

    $80-$100 per person right??

$100 to hire the entire place doesn't sound right....

Looks a bit above my spending abilities.

Per person! The more people the less it will cost - am hoping to get enough numbers to bring the cost down to around $60.

Fuck that. Wheelies are wrong and scary. Its not big or clever you know.

All those dates are looking dodgy. March is nono (be in Blenheim) and April don't look good either.

    I'll just continue with SH2
Superdukes. Serving up shame to sportsbikes since ages ago.

Can you book the Outlaw Oval too? I missed getting to ride on that one - the sidecars were centrifuging right off the banking and over the side.

OK guys n gals - had some discussions with some of my colleagues. There is quite a bit of interest from ambo bikies to attend, so we may not need to hire an ambulance for the day. that'll bring costs down further. Come on people start putting your hands up for this.

    That's the spirit Matt.

Now all the rest of you cunts, I get three PMs a week from people going "Can you teach me how to whhelie?" Here's your chance. The huge expanse of a drag strip. (They're big!) A small daily fee. At least 10 other people, all with advice and know how willing to help you out.

This is going to be a MASSIVE day.

This is not a pissing contest or whatever, you will NOT make a fool of yourself for putting in the effort. This is about a safe enviroment for learning how to do all the cool shit you only ever thought you'd see on DVDs.

    Now who's in?

Yeah I was thinking about an entry fee - something small to help cover costs and any extra would go to Spankme for the running of the site.
