Lightbulb Kapiti lunch time ride - TUESDAY 2 May 06

Sorry about the late notice, but because the weather looks like it is going to suck tomorrow, Sels1 and I are going for a ride today (Tuesday) instead.
Meeting at Paraparaumu Mobil by the lights at 12pm.
Heading north to explore some "local" back roads.
Probably lunch in Otaki or thereabouts.
Expect to return to Pram' about 1pm.
    All welcome to join us.

If you're keen but can't make it today, stay tuned for the next one...

    --------------------------------------------
For all of us lucky Kapiti folk that don't have to commute into Wellington, how about a midweek lunch time ride?
I'm really just floating the idea at the moment, but we'd meet somewhere (eg Mobil by the lights in Paraparaumu) at some time (eg 12pm) and ride somewhere (ideas?) for lunch.
Proposed date is Wednesday 3 May.

I haven't really explored north of Pram' yet, so I don't know anywhere to go up there, so my best suggestion at the moment would be south, eg over Paekak' Hill, around Pautahanui Inlet, lunch in Paremata, reverse trip back. I'm open to suggestions (especially north).

I'd like to make this a regular thing, perhaps every 2 weeks.

    Weather permitting, of course.

    Speed would be sedate.

Please let me know if you're interested and if you have any suggestions.

You mean Wednesdays are your days for concentrated study not interrupted by lectures, right?

I'm not agreeing to any rides over gravel! I only ride gravel when I'm dragged along against my will.

We've decided to ride today (Tuesday) instead due to the weather forecast for tomorrow. Please see top post for details.
