    Hey all.

I'm gonna be in welly next week, wouldnt mind catching up one night to meet all you mad sods down that way and consume a few brews... What night suits people? I guess the 1st/2nd is prolly best (thursday/friday).

Friday suits me. Why are we having an influx of "northerners" lately? Suddenly come to your senses?

Coming down in a cage, and I'm on crutches so I wont have any transport of my own as such, prolly be taxiing it. Staying with my parents in Brooklyn so town works alot better for me than the Hutt, but I guess I could catch a train out.

I'm not a northerner either, I'm a wellington lad, I just havnt lived there for 5 years :-) Coming down to see my parents, take the kids to the LOTR exhibit at Te Papa, and catch up with old friends etc. Figured I mayswell add some new friends to the list while I'm down

haha, you got me there. I was born in Akld lived there for 2 weeks (i think) then moved to Ohakune for 6-8 years then Rotovegas for 11+ years. Moved to Wgtn from Akld almost 4 years ago after living there for 3-4 years. So yeah you called my bluff!
So given any thought to what day you want drinks? Seeing as your on crutches im guessnig you want somewhere you can just sit and get pissed?

Hotel Bristol sounds like another starting point - close enough to get to the action or just park up and get shit-faced....
Or Speights Ale House (Shepards Arms) for a change of venue...?

Hotel Bristol, Molly Malones, Wellington Workingmens are all good spots.

Or at least they were when I lived in Welly.. I assume they still are :-)

Pfft. 8 and a half hours or so by cage and yet you can't make it the hour to get this way?

Lol have fun down there mate. Might I suggest Sub9? assuming you can withstand the loud music.

F**k Sub9 they suck. They refused to sell me a glass of water and told me that I had to buy a tiny (250ml or less) bottle of water for $3 or $4 and then they take the lid of the bottles in an attempt to make you buy another bottle when you want more water.

The Bristol is the place, may have to make an appearance.
