    My wife's getting "fatter"

    'Course,

it could be down to the fact that we're expecting our first!

So, come Feb next year, it's normal sleep patterns & free time.

Lookin' forward to riding, fishing, shooting, hanging out with him/her in a few yrs time!
(hope he/she don't mind riding, fishing, shooting, hanging out with their old man!)

    Congratulations!

All I can say is that my now 5 and 7 year olds come skiing with me (and ski faster than me), ride mountainbikes with me and even come to the race track with me (they haven't been on the bike yet but I wonder if a bucket racer might work...?).

It's a bloody hard job being a parent but sometimes the rewards make it all worthwhile...

Congrats mate, we've just had our first (girl and only a week old) and the joy it brings is amazing. The sleep changes and less free time mean nothing when you're holding your own child in your arms, staring at her for hours on end. You'll also appreciate the free time you have more.
