    Toyzzzzzzzzz...

not one to brag (normally), but at last!!! The mods I've been waiting for, for a while, have got to me! Thanks to Toast for sorting it all out (bling bling)

I've had the bike dyno'd, but the reading was 108rwhp stock, which judging by other posts on other forums, could be a tad optimistic. So, I'm going to get it done again before the toys are installed, then again after they're on.

So any guesses on the increase overall? I'm guessing 5-8hp

The bike is stripped at the moment too, no fairings at all. Since I laid it down last year and got scuffed up on the right and the stone chips all over the front too, I decided to take it all off to get it resprayed thanks to StreetHawk (orange before anyone asks) then go nuts with protective film (good stuff, not the dull stuff). And while it's naked, I'm gonna get in every nook and granny to clean the lot, and a new chain to boot.

So all that with the mods done already (EBC HH pads, 5.1 fluid (lines to come), $$$$ on suspension mods (thanks to Shaun Harris, damper to come)), the bike will be awesome for the summer when it gets here!!!

just want to get it all on now and out the gargre!!!

    Next mod: 05/06 636 cams

met a girl the other night who lived in room 636 at student hostels, when her friend took me to the door i was thinking i would have sex with her for that reason alone, then i saw her

atleast you upgraded your suspension and handling, that way you might just lose me on the corners at manfield and not only on the straights!

    BJ,
I happened to see a readout for a 636 fitted with a power commander, that had been dyno'd at Motomart in the Hutt Valley. 121.3 hp. That's a decent lump of hp from a 600, even if it is cheating by 36cc. My understanding is that comparing readings from different dyno's would be the act of an unreasonable man. I wouldn't be too worried about what your getting at the moment as long as you use the same dyno to compare power curves after mods.

I've been toying with teh idea of a Power commander to go with the Yoshi and i took an '06 blade out today for the day with a micron and commander and i cant see the difference to be truthfull.. maybe cos im wet behind the ears but a grand for a bit of wank value??? i cant justify it myself.

Ps... still kicked your ass on Taupo

yeah, the measure or a few hp means pretty much bugger all, it's more curiosity really. But the PC is more to help out with the can. If you've ever seen a cut away of a stock ZX6 pipe, anything else without a PC would just make it run pants..

And, hopefully once I'm back in the saddle again, I'll be on for a good run at any 'track' or track..

    And it cheats by ~37cc+

Oh, and to buy all this here vs overseas.. makes it worth the wait.

Gareth, your question can generate two replies...

    1. the pipe i felt the additional HP; the commander i didn't. The pipe stops it sounding like a hair dryer.. so yeah wank value but not only did i percieve the change i felt it

    2. .
      ..
      ...

hey.. if you've got the cash then why not huh, im only jealous

    Thumbs up Nice "toys"!

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmmuzzy exhausts....nice,very nice!
I'm currently waiting for my Muzzy headers and GP style pipe, oh and Power Commander to land in NZ!
Well worth the investment IMO...will take it from 184bhp up to 205bhp
Should make the ol' scooter get along OK.
Would be keen on hearing a WAV file of your pipes' tune too Bug

Gonna sound wicked with that pipe... might make wheelies a bit easier
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

yeah, I'll do a before and after sound..
Might do a run with and without the PC, depending on how much hassle it's all going to be..

Nice one Bugjuice, the biggest performance gain will be from the pc3, once you get it correctly dyno to suit.
