Okoroire... 24th September for lunch, come on everybody!

I figured we'd do the same as last time, get as many Kbers and their friends to the Okoroire pub for lunch a chitchat and a few u know whats.

Use this thread to post your ride plan... so others who dont know the way can tag-on... it'd be great to see everyone and catch up in person.

See calender link below for more details

    Cheers

I don't see why I wouldn't be there but option #2 for me.

Can I be a tag along with someone? Don't know any of the roads yet.

Ofcourse you're welcome mate, that's the point of the day.... had a couple make the trip from aucks last time. Okoroire is south of the bombays, have a look on a map.

Its pretty close to home for us Hamiltonians.. but if anyone's keen, how about going via Frenchpass, Whitehall, Karapiro, Taotaoroa, then across the main TGA road towards SH27 and Tirau.

On the way back to Putaruru, Arapuni, cross the river, and home round the back of Maungatautari, perhaps on to Kihikihi and Pirongia etc?

Okay for most people its very close to matamata, just on waiakto side of the kamais

Very basic map for those who to not know.

I am sure someone along the route would be glad to meet them somewhere, aka matamata, if they decide to come 27 or hamilton if decide to come that way

Will have no problem finding the Oak (been there many a time). Will see how the pingers are closer ta the time, but am kean ta catch-up with the Tau crew again. Might even make a long WE out of it if the mood swing that way (Whg-Tau Sat, Hook up With Tau crew ta ride to the Oak, Head home on the Mon).

I have made the Okororie a regular stop recently as I have needed a Mototcycle pub to fill in for the Puhoi as I now live and work in the Waikato. Cool pub and some awesome back roads to get there. But why did you have to pick my Mums birthday to meet there. Will probably have to take the family up to F####N Auckland for a birthday lunch Otherwise I will be there for sure.
