    Chch year end BBQ

Well fellow Chch'ers, next week its November, so maybe we should start discussing when would be a good time for us to get together for the end of year bbq. Last year was great, we got to put some names to faces of KB'ers we had not met before and even their dogs... so hopefully this year will be the same.

    Which weekend would suit?
    Nov 25-26
    Dec 1-2
    Dec 16-17

Any other venues you can suggest? Although last years was great...

I can believe a year has gone by so fast

I'm not around at the end of November, beginning of December.
Gutted I missed last year's event for the same reason, as I'd like to meet up with some other yocal KBers.

So if it's later in December I'll be there. If not I'll just send the rain....

    Hiya Jo,
Early December would best suit me but I'd do my very best to fit in with whichever weekend you decide on. Where was last years event held?

Hehehe - I knew as I was typing it that someone would have something to say... RR, it would be a stunner if you and WT could be there, I know you had plans to come South, when was that?

edit - on the dog subject... Manuboys canine friends are lovely... and they provided some entertainment last year (lots of oohs and aaahs from the ladies), so feel free to bring yours along.

    yeah...its a bit tricky

24-6 nov is magpie madness, be away for that one
1-2 dec I will prob be in Melbourne for work again from the sunday, but the saturday would be good
16-17 Cams meeting at ruapuna on the 16th (I think), sunday might be doable

But DEFINATELY a good idea to do it again, even if I can't make it.
Had a great time last year.... I think the highlight was watching Mr Sensible cooking his sausage on the barbie

Any would be fine but not sure if I'll be able to make it.
90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.

Well just from inital postings it seems the first weekend in December might be a go... however lets see what more people have to say.

I reckon it should be like last year, pretty informal, everyone brings their own meat and drink and maybe a little something else and we will be set... now just to get rashika and the Danger man to let us use that flash bbq again.... insert batting eyelid smilie here ==>

Dec 2-3 or Dec 16-17 would be good for me, and Spencer Park is nice close too.

Hey Plug, how about a quick blat down the beach to get there
