Were you on the Rimutakas today (19/11/06)?

If you were, did you notice someone on the side of the road with a camera?

If you did, that was me and I may have some photos of you.

This is a sample, there are about 58 bikes photographed between 3.00 and 4.30 on the Wellington side, with most bikes photographed a few times in a series.

Click here to view the gallery that shows an example of each bike I got photos of.

If your bike is there and you would like the high res photos send me a PM.

Hey that was a mean trick. So many cops on the road, then we see someone in a grey car aiming what could be a camera ...or could be a...? Made a lot of us back off the gas anyway. Probably did the environment a lot of good. I thought it might have been another of those Police centreline blitzes!
I'll PM you for a few snaps

I'm torn. Darwin liked these two:

But I personally like the MV being given some enthusiasm...

    Go on! There's more yet!

Kendog, don't know whether I may start something here, but do you have video camera?

    This week I did a post about motorcycle training video over in the survival skills section;

    http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=39058

What would be the reaction out there [all of you] if we had a Sunday evening post of several videos on 'Youtube' of up/down the Rimatukas?

I am thinking longer term if we could build up some serious and logical sequence videos we could get them into a stickie.

    Just a thought

    Heads Up and Enjoy

Didn't think of that before I started. One bike did do a U turn and came back to ask me if I was a cop.

Not a bad idea that, but no I don't have a video camera, not a digital one anyway.
It was interesting seeing the different styles of riding out there, and riding gear (or lack of )

Yeah saw the bear knuckles too....

Reckon we might be able to set up a 'learning' come instructional video sequence inside of next autumn perhaps... a case of logistics and getting the right equipment and voluntary type of initiative.

Those pics themselves were excellent KD and perhaps just the start of things to come.

    Heads Up and Enjoy
