I rang the guy today and he said they still had spaces so I guess you are going unless your cheque bounced

Chickadee lives close to me (I believe) so that should be awesome to convoy with you guys.

Just got back from the course. Was very informative and the instructors were excellent. I would recommend those people who haven't been on the course to make the effort to attend no matter what their riding experience. It's only $50 and I think even the most experienced rider would get something from the course (Even if it is just a wide open runway with no cars to practise braking on) and the theory sections are very informative also.

Thanks to Lucy and Chickadee for the escort there and back. Seemed to be quite a few KBers there. Maybe 7-8 out of about 20 students total.

Now I have a load more confidence for the road knowing my bike can actually stop quite quickly now

Just trying to get an idea of the KB attendees. The ones I met/know of/can remember are:

    90s
    fatnold
    lucy
    chickadee
    Chisanga
    R6 kid (instructing)
    s1inky
    Tide

Pretty sure there were 4-5 more?

Yeah I am sure there were more (And a few I encouraged to have a look at the forums here) but I am so immensely rubbish with names that I can't remember

    I remember fatnold's nice R1 though

It was a good day eh, I learnt heaps. Like, when emergency stopping, to actually stop....doh! Because my wheel locked up twice I figured I must have stopped, only I didnt. The one time I did actually stop, I stalled. Lots of practice. Lots more practice needed. I read a lot, but actually having someone telling you stuff and giving instant feedback is a whole different, and better, thing.

Geez you did well, I am hopeless with that, only ones I am sure of are you and Chisanga and Chickadee, and Tide.

By the way folks, you'd be surprised: most people seem to have joke 'Avatars' or pictures of their bikes. But El Dopa and Chisanga have actually used something close to their passport photos on here! A nice change I must say. I haven't met Dover, but I guess his is too.

and also its Noel - the guy incharge of the practical session.
im guessing CaN stands for CHristine and Noel
