    *SHWING!*

...hehe, went to that once before. They dance ontop of the pool tables, after they push them all together and make a giant raised catwalk out of them!!!

There is a dress standard too... motorbike jackets will not be allowed.

Patriots MC, a group of ex-servicemen and women, allservices welcomed- even airfarce.

    From the web:

PATRIOTS Defence Force Motorcycle Club (DFMC) New Zealand is an organisation for all military people, past and present, regular or territorial, with a passion for motorbikes.

Formed in 1998, originally as a branch of Australia, PATRIOTS NZDF NZ is a self-governing kiwi organisation with chapters in Auckland and Christchurch, proud of its affiliation to PATRIOTS clubs in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

PATRIOTS DFMC NZ is a side-patch social club, not an outlaw or 1% back-patch club. We get together for a ride and meeting monthly, and regularly attend activities such as; rallies, poker runs, and similar biking events.

Application for membership is open to current, or former, service personnel with a road bike of 250cc or greater. If you are interested in joining the PATRIOTS, give one of the contacts below a call for further information.

NOTE: For pers based in the South Island, we have a Sub-Chapter operating from Burnham Camp and the contacts there are Carey 021 250 1157 or Marty 021 162 7051.

I could be keen, but if the parking is crap, and they don't allow bike jackets and have a dress code- then how come the Patriots are having a get together at the Cue Club?

I don't have a car at the mo, so that is kinda stuffed that as I'm too tight for a cab fare there.

Hehe, was a fun night there, (the wife got on stage with one of the strippers, didnt get her gears off though, thank f#@$k).
There is heaps of parking for bikes (the bouncers keep an eye on them as well) and you hand leather jackets in when you get there or just take them off (no drama really) and there is definatly no dress code

Oh and MDU its happy hour till seven so the beer is cheep
