Battle of the buckets (Ruapuna, 30 September)

Well... any one keen to do it again this year?
we are looking at the same set up as last year which for those that dont know is in the morning and includes F4 and F5 races, with the biggie being a 55min + 1lap.
In the afternoon it will be a BEARs round which means a points meeting for Buckets... so all day racing and all on Ruapuna's "B" track

Ill be back with details soon, but for the mean time we are looking at September 30th
    cheers DD

Ok, I am keen to give this buckets thing a try, what do I need to do/have/beg/borrow/steal?

I know most of the bikes are modified old 100cc bikes, do you need much mechanical knowledge to enter?

    TIA

Thats really cool Skunk, it will be nice to see you and Skunk Control again...

Hopefully more North Islanders come down for this... it was a great event last year, so hopefully we can make it even bigger this year round.

    Hehehe!

Yay Dave, I look forward to seeing you out there, a little birdie tells me you hold quite a bit of pace on the track...

    It should be a goodie!
Maybe you can do the BEARS event in the arvo too?

Well have to get my 125 ignition sorted out, it isn't the fastest bike (silly 24mm carb rule for air cooled 125s limits speed on long tracks) but should be good fun & I like that B track.

Only have knobblies on the GasGas & new project absorbing too much money to start going crazy with another tangent. I could try scam the Rotax tandem from Matt, but that's a whole 'nother kettle of fish & really needs new tyres. He really needs to paint it & sell it. Would be (was) very competitive.

    Two questions.

First, who gives you the authority to decide who can come or not?
Second, who said you could come?

Finally, just so everyone knows, dangerous has already cancelled the pie cart for this years event. He told me that he reckons thats the best way to get rid of you without actually telling you to your face that he doesn't like you.

And ya better start kissing arse 'cause I'm going to get on the organising commitee to exclude lippy young pricks like you and have a fat barstards riding FXR's BOB only.
