Ride to Manfeild Sat .. the longer way

hey guys/gals ..

well its Manfeild Vic Series on sat .. Weather isn't looking the greatest .. but then today they said it would be raining & still hasn't yet .. sooooo

looking at meeting a couple of young newbie riders fr Levin (non kbers) .. thought we could go Shannon .. out towards Ashhurst & back way into Feilding ..

or swing by Palmy north .. Ashhurst .. back roads to Feilding

or open to other suggestions

& maybe head out again for a quick jaunt if time & conditions allow ....

shannon -> aokautere - > track to pahiatua - > woodville -> saddle road to ashhurst -> colyton road -> vinegar hill -> mt stewart -> mt biggs -> feilding

we might get there in time to see some racing

weather isnt supposed to be too hot tho, you're right....if it's rough enough i'll come down to shannon and ride back too....the more miles the better i reckon

the two young guys that might tag along Jonno have not been out on state highways much .. so lets not petrify them the first time . but if weather holds out was thinking that could be a wee ride on the way home in reverse

am thinking of meeting in shannon about 9ish .. also depends if we can gel a time with these guys too ..

be a sweet lil group then .. but will hang out back with the young fella's

yeah no worries....i was actually thinking of route 57 from you all the way to ashhurst then the colyton road to feilding (not a lot of traffic and roads are pretty decent)

nods .. thats what I thought as well .. & since it will be a bit of a slower ride for the first part good time to remember those tips from last weekend & put them into practice ..

but would be great if you wanna have a run down to shannon to met us as well

be happy to...i quite like 57 and like i said, the more miles the better as far as im concerned (weather permitting)

sweet mate looking at leaving shannon about 9ish ... time to be confirmed closer to Sat .. & only slightly wet .. thought it was more drowned .. ohh yeah now I remember someone changing into bone dry gloves around shannon
