    WIMA Pink Ribbon Charity Ride- 14th October

    Lets get as many people along to this as possible, plan is to meet beforehand then ride to the starting place

    When: Sunday 14th, 10am @ Uni gym on symonds st, leave 10:30 for kohimarama
    Who: All bikers, scooterers, and pillions welcome, if you are willing to take a pillion i think i know of a few who would like to come

    Here's a few of the facts relating to breast cancer in new zealand:
    Breast Cancer is the most common cancer affecting women in New Zealand.

    * 1 in 3 cancers occurring in New Zealand women is breast cancer
    * Approximately 2,500 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year
    * Over 6 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each day
    * Over 600 women die from breast cancer each year
    * 1 in 10 women in New Zealand will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime
    * 1 in 10 men in New Zealand will lose a sister, mother, daughter or wife to breast cancer
    * More than 70% of women diagnosed with breast cancer will survive

    How'd this get here.... I put it in the Uni Club part because i've aimed it at the uni bikers with the whole meet @ the gym beforehand... just like the rest of our rides

    Is the uni gym easy to find? Guess just look out for a bunch of bikes huh
    We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.

    It's just on the main road (Symonds st) on the left going down just as you get to all the uni buildings There's heaps of parking for bikes only and once you hit that, you're in the right place!

    You can't miss us. It is directly opposite the engineering department. Just hang around I am sure there will be some of us looking out for bikers. See you there.
