    grease gun help plz

Farking Guzzi in all there wisdom on the V11 have put a protective shell around the frount Uni joint on the drive shaft... now this cover prevents a grease gun from getting into the nipple, which is now 20,000k over due.

My Grease gun has a flexie hose and a grab on nipple attachment which isent any use if removed.
So has anyone got a right angled or 45* attachment, or a very small nossel, even a pointie needle end will do... I used to have one that you could remove the nipple grabber off and it left you with a needle point... that might work.

GAV... as the site Repco rep, is there anything I can buy from you guys???

Please help a Ginga out as Im not going anywere till I sort the problem... I know the streets wil be a safer place, but i wont be a happy bloodnut.
    cheers DD

I think the best way to do it is to remove the wheel. In future do it everytime you change tyres.

"Needle Point" fittings for your grease gun should be available from places like SKF bearings, Truck Stop truck agents etc. About $10-15.

cant drill a acess hole in the cover either as the nipple is a at right angles so access still wont happen.

TRY doing a search On Mcnaught. They do a huge range of quality grease guns and grease accessories -They had grease gun needles and all sorts of bits
Blackwoods/paykels stocked em a few years back.

    Did you get this sorted?

Would these greasepoints work? One has a grease nipple on the end and just plugs into the existing gun fitting, the other needs spannering to fit. It has a shroud for the point but I took it off for the piccy.

If they will work, PM me your address and I will bung em in the post.
