    Little Bastards!

Last night my mum's car got her two windows smashed and her laptop stolen.
Great surely the cops will do something.

    ...
    Nope!

    Wouldnt of guessed.
"Come down here and take a statment" at least you would have a look for finger prints or something like that.
    Am i expecting too much?

This is just getting stuipd now.

The little bastards are easily getting away with it. 2 Thefts in the last month and the cops havent even bothered except for making me wait in line for serval hours.

Maybe i should become a theft (Sarcrastic).

as i understand it, peop.s have a wait for police to attend even when someone has been hurt ....... not suprised that they don't have the manpower to turn out when it's property theft/damage - upsetting as that must be

i guess the next thing to hit the headlines will be a rising tide of vigilanteism --- and police numbers will be reinforced so they can go after the otherwise GOOD guys

makes you wonder where it'll end

It was under some stuff and my mums blonde so yip.

I didnt truely expect them to turn up at all. (That would unrealstic) but at least they would try a little bit but nope.
Just like when i got my bike stolen and i had evidence where the guys lived and more evidence of where my push bike was as well!
Its even worse when people are getting done for smacking there kids yet the bloody thief's are happily going about there business.

Comparing them to 1998, We had a small house robery and the police were there within minutes. Now what has changed?

No that would be nice tho as theres video cameras there.
Just outside our house in a pretty quiet neighborhood.

Looks like it was probably just teens. As the windows were just smashed (2 of them one at the front one at the back).
Probably just smashed it grab'd in and got whatever they could.

Actually, if it was at Quallmans house then its over the other side of the riverbank, however when kobas bike was written on (while at my house) one of the guys in the flat below mine had his security window busted and they broke in while he was asleep and stole his wallet, keys and mountain bike. Quallman only just lives over the other side of the river from me (across the railway bridge at the end of Mudie St, Alicetown. Im wondering if it may be the same people, possibly kids. This really annoys me as if the Police did respond and maybe take interest they might actually catch them?!

It was the VFR. A neighbour also had his car written on, I think it was 2-3 weeks ago, maybe 1?.... Looks like they had a go at the ignition on the A as well.... Luckily I had steering locked it!

Make a request to the the Police under the Official Information Act and ask them how many speed traps they were running at that time on that date, and for their locations.

Then, assuming there were any, write to them with that information and ask how catching someone doing 60 in a 50 zone was more important than attending the scene of a crime and collecting evidence that could be used to stop similar such incidents in the future.

Kyle, I also forgot to mention that a couple of days before the incidents at my flats, the fence of an empty house was vandalised just up the road from my flat and the letterbox was blown up..... I reckon its children!
