Question * SERIOUS PERSONAL DILEMMA *

I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. Thanks in advance guys.

I've suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her mobile up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my g/f. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my bike which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was whilst crouched behind my bike that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch.

Should I take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from the local auto shop and try to repair it myself?

    ROFL

Jeez, I thought you were serious there... I was getting ready to type out a long, thought out reply. Had me laughing for a good few seconds

    What was the Q again?

Get rid of her and start afresh!! You've had your fun with her, and you don't need to be jealous that someone else has her, just move on.

You didn't say what model your old rusty ride was, so can't advise what new bike you should get.

Depending on the amount of rust I would say take it in or sell it

I've been dropping her off around the corner because the Pajero is a bit noisy, she reckons you might get suspicious of a Pajero taxi. She say you are a lousy screw, but hell, she's nothing to write home about...anyway,at my age, who's complaining. She reckons your bikes slow too, says my Honda gives her the good vibes.

NewTech from Repco is good on a wheel arch.

That's really serious Menace. You're right though - the decision that you make now will have some pretty full-on effects for everyone involved. Don't rush it but DEFINITELY get it sorted before anyone gets futher hurt - what if it collapsed while you were riding? There's some really good people that you can get in touch with to chat about this type of thing, and they can talk you through how you're feeling and where to from here and all that. But good luck mate, don't beat yourself up too much over it and remember it's not your fault - it was probably the guy you brought it from. Hang in there mate!

(btw - 'wheel arch' on a bike?)

What sort of bike has a "wheel arch" anyway? Are you talking about a mudguard or have you got some ugly sucker like a Honda Pacific Coast with full bodywork or something? As for the G/F, sounds like time for a trade in as she's probably done too high a mileage now and will be getting too worn to be bothered with.
    Cheers
