The hardest decision of my life so far...

well as some of you know im planing to make the big jump to welly

however my parents have now decided that if i go im not taking my bike due to the fact that its "too dangerous" and they will get me a car in the place of my bike .

so if i go i give up the 1 thing i love the most

and if i dont, i miss out on doing a year long cource so i can hopefully get a career doing custom paint work and will probly end up staying in welly longer than a year probly 3 or more.

the choice is so obvious but its a hard one to make.

    Pretty bloody obvious to me.

    Education is important.

Take the car. Sell it in Welly. Buy a new bike.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Aye, but being in Wellywood the pubic... er public transmaportation system is so much better, no place to park a car anyhows! Get yourself a nice boike when you're down there, much easier to get around on one of them naturally!

Ermmm ... you could "sell" the bike to someone in Welly, they might let you ride it while you're down here.

We offer a $1 for the bike sight unseen

Are you relying on your parents' financial support to live in Wellington?

If not, politely tell them that you're a big girl now and that they can fuck off and die. Then pack a bag and ride south.

If so, yup, you're screwed. Do what they tell you to, don't try to play silly buggers about it by secretly buying a bike that they don't know about, and get used to it - life's mostly about kissing the arse of whoever you're dependent on to pay the bills, whether it be your parents, your boss, your customers or your shareholders...

    You're screwed.

You'll just have to suck it up and wait until you're an independent adult to get a motorcycle.

    How old are you, anyway?

Yeah. Personally, if I was your dad and I saw this whingy little thread, I'd spank your spoiled, ungrateful little arse halfway to next week and tell you to pay your own way to Wellington.

Consider yourself bloody lucky to have parents who lavish such resources on you.

Ahhhhhhhhhh I didn't know you were that much of a youngster, damn... What's happened with me and alot of my friends is that the family fucking hates it... Then they realise your passion and dedication and they think well if thats what u really want well they cant really stop you anyways. But then again being under 18 changes things a little bit... I donno.
