I have only got up to about $1.80, at about 18,000rpm, in fith gear. And it still was accelerating slowly.
It was paying more attention to the road than my gauges thou.

yeah maybe you should check your bank balanace next time aye

The fastest i ever took mine was 160kph but i wasnt trying to go as fast as i could, it didnt take that long to get there either, so I'd reckon you could get 200+ if you are light, and on a long straight
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Nah mate, youll be lucky getting 190kmh (indicated) and most likely 180kmh actual..... Especially considering that a ZXR400 only does around 230kmh..... (that includes an extra 20hp over the CBR)

Rumour has it that a ZXR250 dropped from a helicopter at a height of 2000 metres will achieve approximately 210 km/hr (60 metres/second), or terminal velocity, shortly before it reaches terminal impact.

Hey, its Friday... what else did you expect?

(Thank you Lagavulin 16 for that little bit of inspiration...)
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Got up to $1.90 and it was still accelerating.

    Speed limiter check = negative

mine was bouncing off the rev limiter in 6th gear at Pukekohe on the back straight during most laps showing around 190 but as thats the end of the line for standard gearing and the speedo (which would be lying anyway) its probably all you'll get provided you're properly tucked away behind the screen.
I would think 190 actual speed is realistic given optomistic speedos and hitting the limiter (mmm 18000rpm!) if you added a tooth to the rear sprocket because it didn't have much more to give.

I don't disagree with you about the speed but what do you mean "hitting the limiter (mmm 18000rpm!)" , you are talking about the rev limiter right? and isn't it it limited at 21000rpm. It does run out of guts after 18000 but it red lines at 19000, or did you just miss type?

(look at the wiring diagram a can't even find a rev limiter, I hope its not the vavles bouncing)

185 on the clock normally. Hit a definite speed limiter at 190 ish when slipstreaming another bike.

now that you mention it, I think it cuts out at 19000. I had enough room at Puke to get it bouncing off there twice (ie. hit limit, decell, accel, hit limit again) on a run so I guess there's enough left to really hit 190 with re-gearing
