    Bucket race -Santa Sprints

This came through the other day if you are in the wgtn area:

The World Famous “Santa Sprints” should be all good fun and lollies for the kids, (we may have the lolly scramble if OSH aren’t watching!!) . 19th Of Dec 2004 from 9:30am start to when ever, at the general Motors Carpark in Upper Hutt
Don't you look at my accountant.

    Cool. See y'all there...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Ha! Ha!

ENJOY your brief bucket-racing moments in the light, foolish mortals!

QUIVER as you face your demise!

FEAR the oppressive weight... of DESTINY!

The FXR140 Of Doom awaits thee! Casting aside its shrivelled keeper in his wretched lair to wail and mourn its passing, it has gone to a new master, who shall be driven by its fell powers to vanquish all who stand in its way!

(You gotta race it now, Frosty.)

    (Precious... my precious...)

It started off as a Honda H100, as befits a man of my stature.

are any of these bikes being mentioned the one that you were talking about earlier, the 50 in a 100 frame that was annihilating at the buckets a while back? white it was, guy had white/blue leathers I think...

That’s Jay (he did quite well at Ruapuna winning 125 races last weekend).

My 50 is the same as his & I’ve beat him more times than the other way around. Keeping it that way may be the issue though.

Seeing as it's NZs ugliest bucket, and not knowing you personally, I was wondering if it "befits" you in another way????

    Just for F5 - I cut another bit off my frame last week . . . . . . progress . . .

Arrgh! you're getting ahead. I'll have to drag mine out & pull the clutch out & claim that as progress.

PS looks like I won't be at this meeting after all, but I'll try to make it.
