    My new Hornet

    Evenin All,

Just thought i'd put up a pic of my recently purchased Hornet freshly cleaned after the ride up from Welly.

Anyone got suggestions as to the best place to get a twin exhaust for this puppy??

    Cheers

    Nice bike!

The colour of those rims is awesome, really compliments the black paintjob.

That's a good lookin hornet mate.

I got my old twin exhausts off the 900 Hornet if you're keen?

Or, see this guy to get some stumpy cans BUT be warned, you may need a power commander afterwards to avoid your bike running lean and being twitchy.

Cheers mate, just checked out your bike, WOW! it looks mean without the exhausts runnin under the seat, very tidy.

How much you want for the twin pipes off your 900? And would they work
    OK on the 2fiddy??

Well... considering they're in perfect condition (travelled less than 1000kms), I think $275 cash would be pretty fair.

You could then remove the baffels and get them sounding mean (relatively easy DIY job). I also have a connecting Y pipe that may connect to your manifold in order to rig these babies up.

Ideally, you'd get a set of carbons but that would set you back $1400 plus fitting...

Couldn't he just remove the baffles from the stock pipe?

Would have thought that would make it loud enough to not be over the top like NOMIS's one. Specially seen as your sitting on 8-10k rpm at highway speed.
