    Waikato Yamaha won't sell me a FZ1!

i went in there to look at the 01 FZ1, and Campbell Hicks, the part owner says he cant even get the keys till his salesman is back, then somehow gets the keys moments later when i ask about the K's on it!
when i ask for a test ride, there is no chance, but when i mention paying cash he is interested again, but i have to come back!its 4pm, a hour before closing time!

can anyone sell me a decent naked sportsbike?
    10k ish.....

    cause waikato yamaha cant!

Hell, after watching those vids you have posted - I would let you out on a demo for sure.

At the speed you Mormens travel at, well if you binned it, its hardly gonna cause too much damage at all isn't it!!

Mmmm hondary goodness... *drool* a sweet hornets way nicer (imo) than a Fazzah (something about swapping a fireblade top end on the engine and having a fireblade engined hornet essentially?) -or did some-one feed be a load of bs? could be worth researching... Que maniacal laughter.

I have never ridden mine before I got it. Paid quite a bit for it too. Did my research. With those bikes you basically cant go wrong. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

i never test ride bikes, had around 15 new bikes and never once test ridin them. Always turned out to be fine, read what the bikes designed for do your research and you can be certain you wont find the bikes limit you just make the bike suit your style and your away

I have a sneaky suspicion that you may have paid a wee bit more than $10K considering there's a 7 year difference between the bikes.

I would have no problem letting carver test ride a bike if I owned a bike shop. so long as all my insurance policies are in place I should be guaranteed the full sale price of the bike if it gets binned. Of course the insurance company then goes after the person who caused the damage for the full value of the pay out.....

Doesn't quite work like that sadly (for the bike shop).
I'd let you (Carver) test ride one of ours if I knew you had the coin to back it up.

exactly,. thats what i sign the forms for..
never crashed a bike i have test ridden.
out of 33 bikes owned only one of them was crashed when i was at fault.
and that was speeding in the wet!

    but it begs the question...
do you want to sell bikes?
treat a customer like shit if he dont look the part, and its a customer you have lost!
