its on road paul. leaves from Himitangi beach .. makes its way to woodville & joins in the xmas parade there .. & when your ready ride out to akitia (sp) for the get together![]()
last yr we went via foxton, shannon, Pahiatuia track & ballance to woodville & apparently its yr about with going via fielding way .. but someone else can confirm that

It's a great ride. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain this year, it's been pissy the last two years and my boots leak (grrrrr).
A good ride and a nice weekend trip if you stay overnight at Akitio.

Participants to be Licensed riders and have a Road Legal Motorcycle for the event
Entry Fee: $20 per person including a light BBQ lunch at Woodville.
Light Breakfast available at Himatangi, user pays.
Spot Prizes at Akitio. $10 meal available
Five $100 Petrol vouchers to give away- wear your HiViz vest and you could be a winner.

Might have to soon organize a meeting place to perhaps ride out to Himitangi together?
Is there an entry form? Or do you just register on the day?

Sadly I wont be going due to a dodgy front tyre. Just too unsafe to be riding in a group ride as I noticed I had trouble cornering yesterday.
