KTM 690 Supermoto - Looking for interest

One owner, '07 model, but first registered June/July '08.
5,000km service intervals. 16,000km service completed. Added 15t front sprocket (down 1 tooth). All receipts available. Will have new WOF and rego.

Brembo brakes front and rear (standard equipment)
    Braided lines (standard equipment)
WP shocks front and rear (standard equipment)

    Comes with genuine KTM accessories:
    - Hand guards
    - Touring screen (easily removable).
    - 690 model specific tank bag, black with KTM orange seams (one of the nicest i've seen).
    - Two COMPLETE sets of KTM plastics. One orange with decals, the other completely black with no decals (currently fitted).

    Other stuff:
    Swingarm bobbins.
    Michelin Pilot Road 2's.
    Philips +50% headlight bulb.
    Ventura Pack rack.
Oxford heated grips (removable velcro type)

Fantastic bike. The 690 engine is KTM's most reliable engine yet. Valves didn't need adjusting. Seat is entirely acceptable for a motard. Spending a day on the coro loop is no problem.
Bike uses sod all gas. I've never been able to get it BELOW 20km/L.

    Say it isn't so!

I can vouch for fuel economy... Ridden at legal speeds, almost 24km/l, thrashed, still more than 20km/l... Oh, that's on mine, lol...

It sounds perfect, and you still sound enamoured with it.
So why are you thinking of selling it after such a short time?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

It is absolutely fantastic and a barrel of laughs.
But i'm heading in another direction. The racetrack and the dirt tracks.
So essentially a track 600 (or F3 SV) and most likely a Suzuki DR-Z400E for communting and trail riding.

You could always race the KTM- BEARS and motards Or is its dollar value a tad high to risk it?

Silly boy... grow some balls, and man up to own the KTM!!!

Just think, all that grief selling the sv etc, and now you want to go back within 6 months

Oh, mine now has more km on it than yours...

For potential buyers, he looks after it far more than he should. Its a ktm and its cleaned probably once a week? It was even more ridiculous when he first had it. Horribly clean just about permanently.

*cough* more like twice a week *cough*. If he could get away with it, I do think he'd keep safe and warm inside
