    Angry Sheep are EEEVIL.

Yes, sheep are definately evil. One attacked me last night while I was riding home from work. It decided to run across the road in front of me. I clipped it with my right foot and it threw the bike over onto its left side, on which it slid down the road for 30 odd metres (with me following). The result - Left side fairing is half ground off, mirror, indicator and clutch lever smashed, footpeg and gear lever bent to buggery.I got a nasty big graze on my left knee and sprained my left wrist. The lesson - Always wear full gear (I wasn't wearing my leather pants, had jacket and gloves on though) and watch out for nasty, evil sheep.

haha, yeah. And it makes work much more satisfying. Putting all those dismembered carcasses into boxes. I'm a freezing-worker by the way.

Yes, sheep are one of the evilest creatures around. People are misled by their nice placid woolly exterior, but they are nasty, or grnarsty even.

I once (well, more than once, even though it was a gummint one) worked on a sheep station, and there was a very apt sign in one of the yards:
    DUMB SHEEP MAKE YOU NASTY.

See? They're so bad they even subvert humans to their evil ways.
My boss had the little finger on his right hand missing because of a sheep doing just what Aiolos was subjected to.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Good to hear that you are okay and only just clipped it, could've been a lot worse if it was more than a clip. Sounds like your bike came out pretty bad, did you get a look at the sheep?

Man, didn't another guy on this forum hit a duck or something recently? Fark, these animals are crazy...

ain't they just. I say that every day as I got to work and slave over them and chase around making sure they have everything they need to stay healthy. Darn I wish they would show a bit more gratitude for the work I do for them. :spudwhat:

Nay, it scampered off into the night while I was lying on the ground. A helpful motorist went to look for it, but he couldn't find it.

Yep. Allum ( think that's how it is spelt but what would I know I am a butler to sheep ) plucked a duck on his way home a few weeks ago. Low side from memory.

So lucky it was just a side swipe as they are very solid when you want to go straight through them. Bad luck and sorry to hear about the bike and your knee.
When Allum hit the duck I read his comments and started wearing the gloves and leathers again. I had got a bit slack with them in the 33 deg days but I wear it all now. So the value of this forum comes to the for when people relay their experiences.
