With Gip and TT both saying they knew where it was I thought I should give them a chance. OK, so I was having a blond ... month? It looked familiar but couldn't place it until I got sick of waiting and really put some effort in. With GIP asleep, TT doing lord knows what, Devo temporary retired and the Ulster lad in a hole even with his hot grips I suspect I will have to wait until you post the next or head for the Hutt.

Noooooooooooo I get enough gbh for Uster about how great the hot grips are :lol: Just started using bar muffs, no icy painful fingers the last couple of days. Don't tell Ulster but they can also be fitted with Hot Handz :dodge: I reckon with the Hot Handz my hands would have been sweating.

BTW, Ulster did work out the location without insider info, after all it wasn't that hard :killingme. Can't spoil the game for him.

Did I pass you around Tawa coming home the other day? I noticed a bike with muffs on, I've used them on farm bikes and quads but always thought they'd be a bit awkward on a road bike. hot grips and something like barkbusters to keep the wind off a bit might be enough for me.

They were cheaper than Rain-offs and do the bark buster job plus the rain-off job. Still undecided on there usefulness but seem no more awkward than the rain-offs so far.

Don't mind the cold all that much, haven't had much of a chance to do anything today, sorting out my son's birthday party for this arvo, got 4 extras for a sleep over, so early morning is out. I'm more likely to go out in the cold than out early ☺

Good jacket for sure, I fluked £450 Gore-tex Frank Thomas one for $50 off trademe, I've had a few different jackets but this is the first one I completely trust in any weather. on the lookout for another pair of pants though... Water cooling not too pleasant on man parts :blink:

Good jacket for sure, I fluked £450 Gore-tex Frank Thomas one for $50 off trademe, I've had a few different jackets but this is the first one I completely trust in any weather. on the lookout for another pair of pants though... Water cooling not too pleasant on man parts :blink:

Just remember to wash the jacket once in a while to clean the Gore-tex or the pores clog and stay open letting water through. As to pants my main issue is size, it was easier to find motorcylce grade water proof over trou than to find trou that fit - thanks Motorad for succeeding where others had tried. The pants are meant to be water proof but heard that before and now I have the Weiss overtrou it will have to wait until I am caught out before I find out (hopefully never - yeah right)

spotted as well
seems I am getting my 'spotting' mojo back but not free enough yet to start collecting them

TT I have handguards with the hotgrips and they are the most elegant solution I reckon. The big plus on the part of the bar muffs is its easy to move them to another bike I reckon but that will only be useful to some.

With the hot grips, even if it rains the heat from the grips really does stop you getting as cold. I have leather gloves which I love and a pair of waterproof ones which are ok. Unless its absolutely hosing I prefer the leather ones because the hot grips make them comfy 90% of the time

First clue is in the tag, it is closer to BE than Bootleggers, that leaves eight stations if you include Kenepuru in the tag area.

carbs need attention, did lots of high speed hard braking on an ACC course yesterday, motor cut every time at the end. Andrew reckoned carbs and not bad riding lol

To be fair. Don't look at the sign on the gate as it is a bit of a red herring. I dare say that place is near by and is renting the land but not what the place is known for. Check out the building in the background. The place has been in the paper recently.

You guys need to talk to Randall about some bar muffs lol. They keep the cold and rain out, still not sure about their "feel", guess it is a bit like going from summer to winter gloves or even having rain-offs on, you don't quite have the flexibility you were used to but at least your hands aren't frozen stiff or soaking wet.
Actually got sneaky and used a little pointer thing from the $2 dollar shop on the phone so I didn't need to take the glove off.

When the tags aren't on the commute it rather slows me down so I understand.

well the Honda NC750 is half a Jazz engine, but nah, if you are allowed that it will just encourage me wife in her believe that car tags would be good. :lol:

I knew I'd never get away with it, I'm hating not being able to get out to get the tags, there's always something getting in the way recently 😢
