I live on a hill thou so moving it would have been hard. Funny part about it I had to be at work by 9.30pm tonight, it wasnt firing at all.. :S Then I ran the battery flat. Last ditch effort to get it going, rolled it down a hill in 2nd. Started straight away lol

Check your battery voltage under load. My old VT250 used to do the same thing and it was the battery laying down. Starter was robbing all the power from the coils when turning over. Start with the easy stuff

generally speaking a standing battery should be 12.8 volts and when the motor is running (and charging ) it should be around 14.7 .
any one may correct me if I'm wrong.

Bang on. Voltage can drop to about 10v while winding over. Anything under 9.5v under load and your battery is usually not charging or knackered

and if it is is not well over 12 v or even 13 when its supposed to be charging you got a problem too

It was a service station with work and tyre shop, another loser to the big conglomerates.

Yup. Jack Motors. Dad was the service manager. Maybe 20 employees by 1980? Moved to Rimu rd in 86 and is still there in one form or another.

I got pocket money for serving gas. The forecourt is still there. Tyre bay the middle windows, and showroom on the right. Mostly Allegros and Princesses by that stage. Five bay workshop (pits in those days, I remember them installing the first couple of hoists) and a yard full of wrecks to play in.

Learned to ride the little honda step-thru across the rd in Matthews Park. Within an inch of its life by the time it was finished.

I had good show and tells at 6 years old :)

Nice work, I wondered how many people knew that boat was there, you only just see it as you ride by. Allways wanted to tag it but thought it was a bit hard to get a good pic.

Have just got home after a 4 day stint in hospital, so apart from a pm Liz sent hackor last nite,I havnt been able to do much about it.
In my opinion, this game generally moves bluddy slow mid week in the winter anyway, and as we dont actually have a time limit in the rules,I feel we should give him a chance to respond at least till Fri, then if we havent heard we can re issue the last tag.
However, this is everyones game, so if you have other ideas, please say so.
BTW, after this I will edit the rules and put in a 24 hour time limit on new tags.:yes:

I finished a week long bout of chemo last fri and all was well, then sat arvo I started feeling shit, and by sat evening I was shaking uncontrollably with a temp of
40.2 so of to ed. They admitted me straight in ( so I missed the bloody rugby which I had been trying to hang in for) and hooked me up to I/V antibiotics for three days while they tried to identify the bug that got me.
They never did id. the bug, but killed whatever it was so all is good, now just have to take extra care and all will be well.

Bloody hell fella, thats a bit of a worry. Interesting bit is the daughter of a close friend of ours has just had exactly the same issue. She is 10, just finished chemo (got the purple heart bead) and ended up running a temp of 41. Quick trip to ICU, some antibiotics and a week at hospital in isolation she is now back home and doing great. Get well soon from the Bergs

I tell her I just need a zip tie and I'll have it sorted... she shoots into the police station and comes out a couple of handcuffs haha
