Thats the way to do it, on a good day you can gather up several images , and then use them on days where you may be able to grab a claim but aren't always able to go after another one. Just be sure to indicate that a pic is a file pic if it is more than a few days old as sometimes subject matter can differ slightly.

The rules are simple( pasted in full below );
Identify the tag
Ride and take pic of your bike at location
Post new pick with your bike somewhere else.

...and welcome to the game.

The Rules
pretty much standard , copied from the welly game with a few adjustments.

#1 - Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.

#2 - Take the tag to a new location(location to remain in "host area"), get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history that can be found down some nice twisties.

#3 - Tag must be a) findable and b) may be placed on a dirt road if a street bike can make it. Maintained gravel is OK, but make sure to let folks know that gravel is required to get to your tag. We don't want to exclude those who don't like to get dirty.

#4 - File photos are permitted only to place the new tag. To claim a tag, you gotta ride.

#5 - Your bike has to be in the TAG picture

#6 -Host area
Porirua city to Foxton and east to the Tararua ridge line

A tag is a picture of some identifiable building/scene or location which includes your bike in the picture.

The local constabulary have already done the catching up with and he is appearing in Porirura District Court on 9th November on multiple charges.

I have no doubt both games will be still be going strong when I come back, it's just a question of how much catching up I will have to do

:done:Swaped the leather for lycra once and did the Taupo a few years back. Tip for ya, keep some energy booster for the Hautepe Hill :laugh:. Have fun, its quite amazing to ride with so many others I was never alone the whole 160k

hmm not that I can see, been getting frustrated with motorbike in shed, horses in the paddock & not having time to fit either one in, so will be horses, motorbike & only cycle if I have a nite off after its over .. however winter I will prob go back to cycling in lunch hour ;)

i prolly the fitest i been in my life.The pace certainly backed of in the 10 k before hatepe,but it was all on from the top!

Same, spent many a morning in spin classes and riding over the aka's, Haywards, Paekakariki back to home in the weekends building up to it. Set myself a time of 6 hours and did in around 5-40ish from memory so i was stoked. ( I caned Hatepe :yes: ) Was a strong head wind after that back to Taupo that was a bitch as i thought it would be a coast in, but na it was a slog all the way.

Depends on when the surgeon can do my neck operation. Waiting for Mr ACC to approve it first which will take about two weeks the its up to how well I heal. They are saying three to six months to full recovery. I'm lucky in that I heal fast so I'm hoping for the three month mark.
Put the quad all back together today so will be listing it for sale soon. Would love to keep it but I'm not allowed to race it for at least a year. Will put the $$$$$ towards a new road bike for me so Mrs Berg can have the ER6n.

I think we need a new tag as has already been tagged Scout look at page 18-19

Repeats are a bugger but doesn't worry me. Keeps it simple. Once I placed a tag and someone said its a repeat so I changed it but little did I know someone was allready off to get it and when they got home the tag was different, so whatever happens its best just to play the repeat tags. Before in the Welly game once a tag was taken and then the person turned 180 and took the next one. Even in this game the Manakau post office and the memorial. Interesting things happen, keeps the game alive. Mr Berg had his surgery today. All went well, with no unexpected complications (he has some difficulty with swallowing and some hoarseness - keeps him quiet tho!). The surgery hasn't resolved all the outstanding issues, but thankfully, hasn't caused him to go backwards. Will put another update on tomorrow.

I'm home finally but feeling like I've been hit by a bus. As Mrs Berg said, the operation went all good with no complications. I haven't had any miracle cures to some of the issues I was having but hopefully I can now start to mend properly. It will be nice to have a sleep without nurses waking me every two hours to check bloods etc although saying that they do a fantastic job.
Can't wait to start riding again but I know it will be a bit before I'm allowed.

Unrelated news today, the low life who knocked me off is currently in custody having been arrested for driving while disqualified yet again. Real slow learner there. Gets sentenced for my crash on the 21st. Which is the day after I see the specialist about the wrist.
