But if you are fact quite serious with that statement then I recommend you remove your cranium from your posterior and take a decent sized cruiser out for a test ride, then you can come back to this thread and admit what complete and utter unfounded bollocks you were talking!

Why a cruiser, might as well ask why ride a bike at all...

A lot of this comes down to choice, a few decades ago I rode what was then considered a very fast 250, I then discovered that a 550 supersport could go faster and I was less tired when I got to the other end. I no longer feel the need to go as fast.

Most sports bike take a lot more effort to ride than a cruiser.

In another thread far far away from this topic, I was queried about my choice of bike, the query wasn't entirely polite but as I said then, "I ride what I choose"

Have to agree there, I always liked cruisers, even when I was younger, it had sfa to do with age. I've just always like the styling; some do, some don't.

However, I must admit that the term 'old slippers' often springs to mind when I jump on my bike.

Amazing how many sportsbikes go ripping past then 5 minutes up the road ,there they are sitting having a smoke & telling each other how good they are..... Or worse pulling one of their number out of the scrub.....or talking to the plod's .

I don't know if your serious, or trolling? Doesn't seem to be much gained from the post though, you're only asking for some ghey reply like 'better than falling asleep' or some such thing.

I like the M109R... it blurs the lines, messes with peoples perceptions of what a sport or cruiser is 'meant' to be.
