    Well it hit home to day.

    last 2 labour dogs got the chop this morning.

    and our boss says.
    if ya can find a new job, take it...

    shite.

    boss is going to carry last 2 machine operators myself and Brent, till we can find a new job.

    its a bit off a worry when ya boss says he might have to go and work for someone as well......

    so if ya know anyone looking for a truck & trailer, digger ,bulldozer, grader operator. 25yrs experance
    send us a pm.
    havent told the little woman yet.
    im scared to......

    Sad to hear mate, hope its just a scare and you can find something before this one runs out ...

    I've been in a big recession back in my home country it got pretty bad . I was lucky enough to keep working but some of my mates had to wait for quite a while before finding something ... anyway hope is not your case

    Given the Govt commitment to infrastructure spend, you may actually find demand for experienced heavy machinery operators is good. Just depends on where that demand is situated.

    Sorry to hear that things aren't quite as stable as one would wish. Our thoughts etc.....

    Have you tried Fulton Hogan or Works ?? Or mabey one of their contractors???
