Oh don't be like that bro! I miss her too man! Just means I'm gonna need your help to pull her out of the sand and mud!

Mind you with the big girl in bits in me shed at teh moment I'm missing the simplicity of modern electrics and being a single banger! Can't wait to see your 610.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

Sick of the continous rain up here at the moment, cant even get outside to do a few projects and no good for riding the bike either.

Well you better turn the rain off for me for the next 2 weeks. I expect it to be sunny up there when I arrive.

Always looking for a good ride, doesn't matter where. I have the next few weeks off too, dairy season over and just doing a bit of training that's all...

    Thumbs up Bikes in London

I lived just outside London from '85 - '91 working as a professional photographer, and with most of my clients in London, I didn't own a car, but purchased a brand new (1987) KLR600 for trips to the city

The big advantage of an adventure bike ( especially 600's up ) was the fact that the handlebars were high enough to be above everyones wing mirrors - VERY useful when lane splitting :-)

I only got knocked off the bike twice in all that time - worst time was getting T-Boned by a car coming out of a side road, result was me sliding across the 4 lanes of Tottenham Court Road watching cars and busses taking evasive action..... new undies that day :-)

My KLR thinks it's a Hyundai - running happily at the red-line hour after hour.....
