A few thoughts on this thread:
A lot of people have accused of carver winging or denying guilt ... can anybody quote this? All I remember was that he said there was a good chance that he could get out of this, not that he thinks that it's unfair and he is being persecuted. Seems a lot of people like putting words in other people's mouths

Speaking of putting things in other people's mouths, what's with all the references to prison sex? A few people perhaps speaking what's really on their mind? Frustraited perhaps?

Does anybody realise the complexity and expense of doing this legally? Hell the expense and paperwork of running motorsport legally on a track is bad enough.

I dunno. I'm not saying what carver did was right, but he wouldn't be the only person on KB who has some creative interpretations of the law. I can't see how this put any more lives at risk than those who choose to drastically exceed the speed limit regularly.

If they require those sort of credentials to set up cones, imagine what those same bureaucratic pussies would expect from you! Atleast a diploma in balls out bravery... but where to get one these days? I believe strongly in the idea that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. As a nation who've in the last 9 years gone fucken soft, I challenge those who propose what negative consequences COULD have eventuated, to explore the reason why those negative consequences DIDN'T eventuate, and in the process learn something about the mental and physical preparation Carver exercised preceeding the stunt, because it could serve you pansies well... Think we're paranoid,had a mate go over to Perth(he works for electrical fault company,genesis or similar)they have an Aussie company they help out,when he was first over there,they had a couple of day long courses on how to use a shovel,i.e standard shovel for digging round holes,and square edged for square holes.Thought it was bullshit but next time he showed us the certificate of completion,and funny thing is the guy was brought up on a farm,his folks still milk.
