that's actually the same pipe as what i've got.

but you can take the hacksaw out as i want to cut the pipe end square.
and get the silencer to come up on an angle just as in the pic.
so, don't put that welder away just yet

Yes I know it's the same- hence the option to replicate, I like the slash angle at the end, 5 mins with the hacksaw. Welder is still out, have some finishing on the stainless rack for the BMW.

ok i 'might' know the culprit who ran low on fuel...but as far as i know
it was a purely scientific experiment to see how far said machine could go
on a half tank
i think the brisk pace 'twoup' over te onepu road may have contributed to
such low mpg statistics recorded on the day hehe
bloody grouse ride tho...wickle has some video footage which i saw this
arvo and its pretty good...just need to figure out how to load it?

Have you got the video footage on your PC? What is the file format.. Quicktime?

If quicktime, it can be uploaded direct to Youtube and photobucket.
If the files are much over 40 meg it would be best to use Youtube as photobucket shits itself during uploads

It's not slash cut cool enough it's cut on an angle, not on a curved angle. There is a difference, the curved angle highlights the end point and makes it sharp and dagger-like. :slap:

Ok! can you watch it on your computer? If so, most file types that can be viewed on your PC will likely be up-loadable to Youtube or photobucket

Do you have a Youtube or photobucket page. If not you could have a go at registering for one then uploading to it. If that doesn't seem do-able just stick with plan A and I will sort it.

Have burnt couple of short ones to a disc, Now the one FF saw this a/noon is 757mb can I shinrk(f7) this to fit on a 700mb disc or what?

Not without using some form of editing software as far as I know.

You can't write them to a DVD (much bigger capacity)?

Or if you have a spare memory card you could save it to?

cant make it tomorrow but should be able to make it on thursday, by 5pm if that's ok?


4-2 would cost me $1200 using the silencers that i have or $1500 new whereas i can have the existing one re-coated for $350, so this one is likely to be more than a temporary measure.
i mean, after 3 years of dreaming of getting the 4-2 i think i'm coming back to reality

LOL sorry KiwiGs but knowing that the pain has gone and the bones are right, it is a little bit funny.Not many can say they've head onned a sheep and walked away unscathed/shorn@#$$% so to speak.Shame on EWE Diesel Dick for remiding poor ol Kiwiw about his unfortunate triest with that sheep.

Caseye, the spooky part about this story was I offered KiwiGS a ride on the 850 while he was visiting, but he politely replied no, because he was getting a ride the following day on his brothers bike. So, we just had a couple more beers and my bikes stayed in the shed.
Now Ewes guys know what people mean by sheep shaggers!!!

Dodgy, I thought you were going to operate on my pipe, with that hacksaw.

It's only angle cut that way because I had to operate on the baffle.
The previous winter, I started the engine, just after an oil change. A real loud knocking sound erupted, so I shut it down pronto.
Didn't have time to check the oil pressure light, so I was packing it. Rechecked the "CASEYE" and found plenty of oil. Re-started it and let it idle, to have the knock disappear after expansion took over.
While the baffle was out, I relieved some resistance, aligned the slash to it's present angle and put a plug weld up front. No more rattles and sounds just right.

Many folks don't rate the Cycleworks slash pipe. It's only because they don't appreciate the versatility and potential of the basic design.

we were discussing that the other day eh DD?, great pipe in my opinion maybe
a bit dated or non 'oem' in appearance for some, but nice and light and
always give a great tone on 4cyl
