Ok it counts, but only cause you are so greedy

I reckon a 9am start time would be appropriate.

Further, if we can meet up with the guys from Hamilton at say 10.15 am at the Kingsgate, that would be great.
Murray, what plans do you have? Nothing is set in concrete as yet so changes /different ideas can be accomodated.

Well parking sounds like it's sorted. I'm gonna be a wild goose

Neither the BIKEOI organisers nor BRONZ (nor the police for that matter) have any ability to prevent riders making their own way to parliament by whatever route they choose , and parking in Molesworth St

(Parking within parliament itself was never an option)

Just been googling street view around Molesworth and Bowen Street. It ain't looking good for coffee shops. The heathens don't appear to have kept up with our cafe society requirements. We may have to pack our thermoses

    blimey Wickle!
You will be in Max's league of bikes and bikes in bits soon. Thanks, you make me feel a lot better about my, ahem, affliction.

Darn good time to buy up the things you love, not going to be any cheaper than right now either.

    Sure is!
Sadly the last time I went for a ride on those back roads a sheep jumped out at me,
I had to ride from between Wimbledon and Porangahau to Hastings, with a dislocated shoulder and no front brakes....

back in the early 80's i was riding the XS650 along a very long stretch of road heading towards....god knows....lower north island.....and i was seeing how fast it could go....at about 175kmh....two sheep ran across the road and i went straight between both.....missed them by a metre...on either side....i slowed down a bit after that......
