I used to be one many moons ago, not any more though. But the bike was done by my brother who usually does car signwriting.
Unfortunately he didn't have enough time to fully wrap the bike, and I wanted it free/cheap/doz beers. LOL

Brilliant. Love the irony of the tank being used for the ACC vehicle of choice.

the mana t2 lane can be used if you stick to single file...can fit between parked cars on the left and the rh lane

yeah but being that the groups will be rather large its prob safer just to stick to right lane .. if the lights are on a long phase that will help to keep the groups running smooth ..

FMS turnout for HB yesterday. Overall fantastic spectacle so a big congrats to yungatart. Couple of learning points that we can apply to Tuesday in our rider briefs.
#1 No overtaking - full stop! We're all going to the same place so it's unnecessary.
#2 Don't set off with the bike ahead - give yourself a few meters space.

Regarding #2, closest I saw to an oops was where everyone was pulling out together. Guy a few ahead looks over his shoulder just as the bike ahead of him misses a gear or something. Looks back and his reactions were spot on. He missed the bike ahead and avoided an off but he scared the bejezus out of the bikes around him.
    Manawatu Tag-o-rama Website. Mowgli's score: 38

Cheers Rob its already in the riders brief .. that was one of the rules for the run a few weeks ago & worked brilliantly .. along with no passing of the TEC of the slow group directly behind the leader.

Even though we have a slow group leaving early chances are some late comers may be slower riders, as the pace upfront is slow its the best place for them & again worked well

we are also asking for a 2 sec stagger of the main group & at least 3 for the slow group

Other information will be covered in the ride brief
