Was waiting for someone with knowledge of Auckland CBD and parking etc to post some ideas of where we can put forward the best exposure for this, take up as many parking places with as few bikes, and concentrate the effort.
Now onto the second page of this thread and it is filling up fast with crap making it harder for people actually interested in doing something to sift through the nonsense of people with nothing better to do than post their pointless dribble (hey, isn't there a thread for that?) hoping that maybe we might find it slightly amusing.
It isn't, by the way.

If you can tell me what time the shops open, I will tell you what time to bring yourself and a few hundred of your mates to Mission Bay on Sunday
There is actually a flyer out with all those details on it, sadly I dont have a copy, maybe we can have brunch at Mission Bay this Sunday, and CBD next? I will have had a chance to get a copy of the flyer by then![]()
Cheers Mom
That's all I needed to know. Didn't see your intial post had been (sneakly) updated to Mission Bay
Will get around my old school no-interweb cronies this week and see who I can drag along too.
I must admit, having a lovely breakfast in Mission bay and a coffee or two is the most appealing protest I have heard of.
Wonderful idea, very Auckland for a Norfie![]()

WHOS NEXT
Morphed into
BULL SHIT when Nick came out
Labour and the Greens thought this was JUST BRILLIANT!!!!!
Just ride.
On yer Mom and all others organising protests.
IMO we should not advertise to the media where the disruption will be as that will just alert the cops.
However, I will join this on Saturday with a few friends.
I'll also send a txt to all who signed up to Motorcycle Disruption to gather all their friends on Saturday and do the same in their areas.
IMPORTANT: No point doing this and the public not knowing why or what its about. Put signs on all your bikes telling them why you are blocking their parking spaces and make sure you blame the National Govt and Nick Smith.
Anyone looking to get organised, check out this thread too:

This is a surprise attack format where protestors will receive a txt message telling them where to go and what to bring.
txt to 021 073 0316 to sign up.
This is all anonymous buy send your location so we can plan more organised protests.
Factual letters to the ed etc, or as editorial or storylines would be good too. I'm about to submit this...Last Saturday 14/11, I was privileged to be one of the organisers of a motorcycle rally to protest proposed ACC levy rises.
Over 200 bikes turned out. Not a single mishap.
I also joined the mass of bikes that went to Parliament on Tuesday 17/11. At least 100 left Napier, picking up more as they traveled south. Over 6500 bikes eventually joined the convoy, plus maybe another 1000 who went early.
One mishap near Wanganui. A 17 year old learner made a mistake. Strangely enough, this is what learners do.
The people lining the roadsides cheering for us, and the support shown by other motorists despite any inconvenience we may have caused, was simply overwhelming. The police directing and controlling at intersections did a fabulous job. Before we reached the parking area, the line of bikes was 2 wide and stretched 25km.
I stood in Parliament grounds, shoulder to shoulder with 12,000 concerned citizens, most of them bikers, and listened to Nick Smith come out with some new lies.
He thinks the $500 rise is too much, when last week he said it should be $3700.
According to him, 1335 recorded crash claims magically became over 5000.
He said there are more m/c crashes than ever before. In 1971 it stood at 2668, 1981 was 3273, 1991 was 1963, 2001 was 658 (a wonderful low) and in 2008 it was 1335. With double the bikes there were in 2001.
Are we getting the picture?
The cattle waste was not missed by any of the crowd. Nor was it missed by the media, who nevertheless continue to fail in investigating the facts.
Motorcyclists have a message for Nick Smith. We know what you are up to, we aint buying what you are selling, and we give warning to the rest of NZ – if you haven’t figured it out yet – You’re Next.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
being one of 10,00 people shouting
BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT
worked for me!!!

The take-the-car-parks idea is great. The battle-cry, not so great.
You will notice the car-park protest will upset cagers (as it is meant to do) but the battle-cry disenfranchises them.
And so I shall bat on again that we have to get the cagers angry enough to protest TARGETED ACC levies OF ANY SORT!
Sure, they're a pathetic lot with no central image, such as bikers.
But what about trucking companies, taxi companies, Couriers? They have a financial interest in being raped by ACC.
What I'm driving at is we have to get this elevated away from being just a biker-bitch. After all, who cares about bikers other than bikers?
So here it is again.
Registered Road Users are the ONLY group who pay a TARGETED LEVY? WHY?
Because we can be easily identified.
Let's forget the whose-next idea and concentrate on whose being done right now, and of those, upon whom can we prevail to support us in a campaign to have all ACC levies removed from rego and fuel and have it set against the individual ONLY.
Maybe, next time we move on Parliament, we attract 5,000 bikers, two thousand truckers and a whole gaggle of taxis, ambulances, Couriers, et al.
You see! We are all being stung for no equitable reason.
All we road users take less than 10% of the ACC payouts, yet WE get to pay extra.
WHY?
NO! Resisting the increases is not the game. Having ACC levies removed from all road users and from fuel IS THE GAME.
But the car-park infestation idea can be used. What, for example, would the public make of two hundred Couriers, a few ambulances, two hundred Taxis, and the rest bikers, taking over the car-park of any Westfield mall?
We get truckers to front up and block the access roads.
But it wouldn't be just bikers. AND THAT IS the biggie. We have to get other registered road users involved and protesting.
That night, on TV, about the only source of info for the average cager, they get to see why they were denied access to their favourite money-wasting spot, and then get told that this is for them too.
Cagers unite! Save yourselves heaps of money by forcing the government to drop targeted ACC levies on registration and fuel, and make the beggers divide ACC equally amongst all New Zealanders......Meanwhile, stop ACC paying rape victims, suicide victim families, $10,000 titanium legs for savage murderers, etc. Rape, suicide, and getting your leg shot off are NOT accidents!
The arsehole killed an innocent, then got shot by police (remarkable in as much as the police can't shoot shit in a barrel....remember the pit-bull. Nine shots (the Glock had no more) and still the dog roamed free in a fenced residential section?)..... in the leg. They amputated (there's a cost).
We just paid $10k for this arsehole's titanium leg! That's 42 current biker ACC levies to give this shit-head a titanium leg. Not allowed to give him a titanium bullet. Oh no, that's right against the Geneva Convention, or some fucking convention.
We have to get serious and organised
Unless, of course, you'd prefer to have you kid charged ACC for playing a sport. That'll be next on the agenda. To play a sport you'll have to be a registered member of a club. And a part of that rego will be ACC.
And so, let's attack to soft underbelly of those who feel immune from our plight.
Fill up one Westfield car-park, for just one day, with non-shoppers.
The cagers would go hysterical. Westfield management would have a melt-down. An entire day's trading down the drain.
Maybe we could then ask Westfield to help us launch a media campaign, like supply the bucks. Or we could come back next week with a similar request.
Of course they will arrange some level of security for next week...and the week after...and the week after that, till the cost and the worry got the better of them, then we go again.
You see the point? Engage the masses to get our solution.
I just realised the battle cry. ONE TAX-PAYING PERSON. ONE ACC LEVY.END OF STORY.
Only 'Now' exists in reality.
Credit where its due, Bren was the one who started it
He shouted Bullshit to Nicky, and it just went OFF!!!!
And I actually saw it happen, and it went CROWD wide before the third repeat, it was fucking AWESOME!
All the Labour MPs joined in too!!!!!!!!!
Ill vote Red till they consign my tired bones to the crematorium
Just ride.
