+1. I've been there on all sorts of bikes. Never had an uncomfortable moment. All manner and conditions of men and so on.
Though Puhoi has gone off somewhat since they opened that tunnel. Not so many bikers there nowadays and the place is being overrun with Mummy and Daddy types and metrosexuals. I think it NEEDS some more intimidating Harley types, to reclaim it.

Is that you 40 seconds in?
Which nicely sums up why I don't like following them.
I'd be worried that If I bought a Harley, f'rinstance an XR1200, that I'd tip it over in a corner only to have everything ground hard an have me sliding up the road on my arse.
Looking at my chicken strips though, that might not be too much of a problem...![]()
Hey, if you got cut off by some guy on a Honda and you thought he was being a dick, well that's fine. No one likes being cut off while minding their own business. What I'm saying is that I was not looking to piss these guys off - I was actually trying hard to get past them without being noticed. I had a feeling that they might not like me going past but my only other option was to stay behind them or breeze past at 130 or 140, which with the amount of cops on the road on Sunday, plus my ticket from the week before wasn't really an option at all. I also noticed that cars were cruising past them and not encountering any static from them. So when, a few km's later they catch up and start waving a middle finger (actually it was the whole arm thing going up and down) in an obvious display of anger and indignation then yes, I do get a little pissed off about it. How would YOU react in a similar situation??
Before you say "I would just ignore them" let me tell you it's pretty hard to "ignore" it when you're being monstered by 3 noisy bikes with bad attitudes whilst trying to mind your own business and just get home. Yes I know that winding it up to 160 was probably on the dangerous side, but at the time I was not really thinking about the road code - more like trying to get the fuck away from 3 assholes with an inferiority complex.
